Rear House was realized in the back yard of Klaus Kinski’s birthplace. The real place of event was confronted with fragments derived from the description of Kinski’s childhood found in his autobiography. The work explores relations between Kinski’s memory, idealization, fictionalization and beholder’s imagination.
